The portal is now open for Fall 2026/Spring 2027 scholarship opportunities. Applications will be accepted until the end of April. However, additional scholarships may be added throughout the term.

If you need financial assistance now, consider applying for various scholarships available, such as the FAMU Rising Scholarship or the FAMU Rising - Legacy Circle Scholarship and check with FAMU’s Financial Aid and Student Support Services for other need-based opportunities that may be available.

To be considered for any scholarship, you MUST meet the following criteria:

• Be a FAMU student.
• Complete the Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA), required, and have it on file with the university. International students: No FAFSA required.

Note to incoming students: The scholarship portal is available only to students who are fully enrolled at FAMU. New admits are not eligible to apply until enrollment is complete.

1. Sign into the portal with your FAMU email and password.
2. Complete the General Application and any COE supplemental applications presented. You are automatically matched with scholarship opportunities for which you meet the criteria, and the portal provides additional “recommended” scholarships that may be available to you.
3. Once your applications are complete, no further action is required! Award notifications or regret emails will be sent to your campus email address.

FSU Scholarships

The portal is now open for Fall 2026/Spring 2027 scholarship opportunities. Applications will be accepted until th end of April. However, additional scholarships may be added throughout the term. Any applications submitted in November-December 2025 should still be active, but please ensure all information is up to date.

If you need financial assistance now, please visit FSU’s Office of Financial Aid website for information on how to apply for aid and to review the types of aid that may be available sooner than scholarships.

To be considered for any scholarship, you MUST meet the following criteria:

• Be an FSU student.
• Incoming students may apply as soon as they are issued an EMPLID and FSUID, given that the portal is open and accepting applications.
• FSU advises that completing the FAFSA is not strictly required, but as a best practice, it will maximize your eligibility for aid.

1. Sign into the portal with your FSU email and password.
2. Complete the General Application to be considered for all university opportunities. To qualify for College of Engineering specific opportunities, also complete the COE Supplemental Application. Any applications submitted in November-December 2025 should still be active in the portal, but please ensure all information is up to date.  
3. Once your applications are complete, no further action is required! Award notifications or regret emails will be sent to your campus email address.
