TallyRobotics Summer Camp - Tech Challenge Intro 8th-12th grades

July 22-26, 9A-3P daily


Tech Challenge Intro Robotics Camp: During this week-long camp students in rising 8th-12th grades will build a basic FIRST Tech Challenge robot and develop their code skills, learning the more advanced code skills needed for FIRST Tech Challenge robotics. They will apply Java in addition to the block-style programming they've learned in school or on other robotics teams. This camp is ideal for upper-middle to high school students looking to hone their skills for team play or personal interest in STEAM subjects.

July 29-August 2, 9A-3P daily


LEGO® Robotics Camp: During this week-long camp students grades 4th-6th will learn everything from basic programming techniques to move the Spike Prime robot to more advanced programming using the different sensors on the Spike Prime robot. ADRGS Finalist A Visit

All are invited to an open presentation and discussion with the candidate. There will be ample time to meet with the candidate who will begin a half-hour presentation on their experience and vision at about 12:20 p.m. The candidate will remain until 1:30 p.m. to answer any questions.

All faculty, students and staff are cordially invited to attend a special showing of “A Million Miles Away” at Challenger Learning Center’s IMAX Theater on Friday February 23 at 6:30 pm. This event celebrates national Engineer’s Week and is open to all. Bring your family and friends to enjoy a free movie and popcorn courtesy of the college and Challenger!
